Christie’s Pop Memorabilia Auction is being held on May 5, 2005 at Christie’s South Kensington.

This sale should be of particular interest to Elton fans, as there are number of rare Elton John items being sold, including the Versace suit he wore on his induction into the "Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame", two pairs of his original platform shoes from the 1970s and various signed promotional ephemera.
